This bar boasts an impressive selection of beverages. From the local Brighton Palace Bier to international favorites like Heineken and Guinness, there's something for every palate. One of the standout highlights of Horatios Bar is its welcoming atmosphere. Guests can enjoy the fresh sea breeze while relaxing on one of the two outdoor spaces, especially on sunny days, as highlighted by customer 'Fix Lizza,' who described it as an oasis after a long walk on the Pier. The bar holds over 100 people, making it an ideal location for gatherings and celebrations.
What makes Horatios Bar even more special is its unique culture. Customers are welcome to bring in takeaway fish and chips from nearby fishmongers, allowing you to indulge in the quintessential British seaside experience while sipping on your favorite drink. As 'Ciprian Mi' noted, this feature adds a delightful twist to your visit, creating a perfect day out by the sea.
It's worth mentioning that while the food menu may be limited, the vibrant atmosphere, coupled with the option to eat from local takeaways, more than makes up for it. The bar's commitment to quick service and friendly staff ensures that your experience will be enjoyable from start to finish.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a lively spot with breathtaking views and a great selection of drinks, Horatios Bar is a must-visit. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this spot promises an unforgettable experience that captures the essence of Brighton's beach culture.
“ Great party venue and amazing views. Holds over 100 people and if you are lucky with the weather you have a choice of 2 outside spaces. ”
“ The Oasis.... it's really nice place I went in Brighton an Saturday very sunny was incredible after long walk on Pier just turn on left and found A place like this. Great choice of beers and cocktails, big and clean, you go outside and is like sit on the Dea. Must Se e 4 believe it. Recommend. ”
“ Dive pub on the pier. It’s world famous people watching. Beers were good. Staff were game on. Didn’t try any food. ”
“ Wasn't too busy. Quick service, no table service. 7 for a pint of Guinness, which isn't too bad considering its on the Pier in Brighton. ”
“ Always our go-to bar when we visit the Brighton pier. Lovely atmosphere, especially lovely on a sunny day. They allow you to eat fish and chips from the nearby takeaways, which is a big plus as we generally want a bit of that when we're by the sea. Drinks possibly pricey for Brighton, but they're Central London pub prices and we don't visit that often to bother us. A few more options on the food menu would be good, but allowing takeaways makes up for that. ”
“ Great bar. Beautiful to sit out in the sunshine. Staff were really lovely. Disappointing we couldn't order food as they didn't have anything we wanted to order from the menu available and they didn't have cherries and berries old mout on draft, it didn't spoil our time there as there are plenty of other places around to eat. Thank you to the staff on shift today, you were quite uplifting after seeing some of the miserable staff from the rides. ”
“ If warm enough, you can sit outside watching the boats, seagulls & fish spotting. Definitely recommend stopping by for a drink to watch the world go by. Didn't eat but it looked nice ”
“ Great sports bar venue with an amazing pizza. We were very happy with the meal and can certainly recommend the place ”
